“I would recommend Hurstwood for a rural countryside stay. It is very much as advertised, the campsite and huts look as the photos. The place is quite remote so be aware it’s a 10ish min drive to nearest shops but through beautiful countryside so you can take in some view on the way. I went for one night with my husband and daughter (we took our own camp bed for the kiddo) and we all had a great time.”

“Really lovely campsite surrounded by nature, pretty woods and nice walks. Very friendly staff. You have to park a 5 minute walk away but they dropped us off with all our stuff in a buggy and picked us up. We underestimated the cold and left a night early and the staff we spoke to were really nice and even offered us a duvet!”

“We loved the accommodation, location, laid back environment, little touches (orange chocs, tea bags etc). The horses were clearly very well cared for, and the whole set up seemed full of care. The lessons and the hacks were just wonderful – clearly adjusted to suit us – just the right balance of lesson and holiday.
