Unleash your spirit of adventure with delightful walking and cycling opportunities in the surrounding countryside. Explore the abundance of public footpaths, setting off directly from the farm. Wander for miles, embracing the freedom of the open landscapes without encountering the hassle of road work.

At Hurstwood Farm, we cherish our environment, and sustainability is close to our hearts. Our hedges are thoughtfully preserved, only being cut every 3 to 4 years, creating a safe haven for various bird species to nest. Along the field perimeters, we leave a 1 to 2-meter strip, encouraging the flourishing of wildlife, including field mice, butterflies, and moths. As you venture further, you’ll encounter our natural woodland spanning approximately 20 acres. Here, insects thrive, and an array of bird species find solace. Keep your eyes peeled for foxes roaming gracefully and the mesmerizing sight of buzzards soaring above. And if you’re lucky, you may witness a majestic herd of deer gracefully strolling across the pastures, with numbers ranging from a few to a stunning gathering of 20 or 30. Marvel at the beauty of Roe and Fallow Deer, creating a harmonious balance within our surroundings.

Come and immerse yourself in the captivating environment of Hurstwood Farm. Book your stay today and relish the serenity of the East Sussex countryside, where natural wonders unfold and unforgettable memories are waiting to be made.
