“I would recommend Hurstwood for a rural countryside stay. It is very much as advertised, the campsite and huts look as the photos. The place is quite remote so be aware it’s a 10ish min drive to nearest shops but through beautiful countryside so you can take in some view on the way. I went for one night with my husband and daughter (we took our own camp bed for the kiddo) and we all had a great time.”

You have to park a 5 minute walk away but they dropped us off with all our stuff in a buggy and picked us up. We underestimated the cold and left a night early and the staff we spoke to were really nice and even offered us a duvet!””
