Although Liane has travelled to Tweseldown several times before this was Milly’s first visit. To start the day Milly did a nice test to begin with but became slightly unbalanced in the second canter which resulted in a small break to trot. All of the trot work looked good, but the mistake affected the final score of 31.3 – still a good mark.
The show jumping went well, Milly was unphased by the ‘interesting’ meerkat fillers and other spooky jumps and produced a lovely clear round. She then carried this confidence into the cross country phase and also went clear. Unfortunately she just missed out on a ribbon for her efforts, coming 11th by a very small margin.
