The Equestrian Centre

Our equestrian centre has it's own modern, purpose built stable yard, indoor and outdoor (60x20) arenas with Mirrors, show jumps on grass and comprehensive cross country course.

All set within 80 acres of undulating farmland nestled in the beautiful Wealden countryside.

HIRING OUR FACILITIES

Outdoor arena; 60x20 £10 per horse and rider per hour, additional horse and rider £5 within same hour.

Indoor arena; 16x30 £5 per horse and rider per hour

Grass Arena with Show Jumps; £10 per horse and rider per hour, additional horse and rider £5 within same hour.

Cross Country Course. Over 80 jumps set amongst rolling grassland and woodland. £17 per session per horse

At Hurstwood Farm we believe that a Livery Service does not just stop at the provision of hay, feed and bedding!

We pride ourselves in giving added value in our service with a friendly support team available at hand whatever issue should arise, and as we all know there is always something round the corner with horses!

We ensure our clients receive peace of mind throughout the week and can rest assured that their horse will be given the care and attention as if it were our own.

Each horse is an individual and will be treated as such. We work closely with both horse and owner to ensure fitness, recreational and nutritional levels are balanced for each animals workload and each riders aspirations.

SPECIALIST TRAINING

We are proud to provide a unique breaking and reschooling service, our aim is to offer programmes based on working with both horse and rider as a partnership.

We are able to provide a holistic system addressing each individual horse, based on physical, nutritional and psychological elements.

Problem Horse Retraining Programme - working with you and your horse, we make sure you'll leave the yard with a comprehensive follow on training programme

Backing/Starting Programme - we will help you start your horse, quietly, gently and in a way that gives both of you the confidence to progress. Please click on the Schooling/Breakings tab for more details.

Horses taken for sale - show your horse to it's best advantage with our superb facilities.

FOALING AND WEANING

Our large safe foaling boxes are set in a quiet area, aside from the main yard. Owner on site 24/7.

At weaning time why not send your mare or foal to us for a few weeks? We have calm turn out companions, and friendly atmosphere to alleviate their worries.
