Eridge BE90- 28th June 2014 – 4th
William tried really hard in his dressage test and was rewarded by receiving some 8′s, but a slight distraction towards the end of the test let it down overall. This resulted in a score of 32.5 which was still very good.
The Show Jumping caused no problems for him despite the busy trade stands, which had spooked him a little in the warm up. All good practice for the future .
The Cross Country at Eridge is very undulating with an uphill finish and with William not being the speediest Liane really pushed him on round the course but had to leave enough “in the tank” for the final stint. He started a little hesitant over the first few but soon got into a rhythm and gained in confidence to finish clear and bang on the optimum time.
He finished the day with his dressage score and came 4th out of 43 starters.
