Millies Eventing Progress

Felbridge Combined Training 30th January 2020

Faith gave Milly a jump in the warm up and she went really nicely. They are just starting out together and building a bond. Unfortunately we were a bit too late arriving for her to jump in the ring.

BCA BE100 – 8th Place Following on from some weeks of intensive flatwork schooling, focusing mainly on Millie’s canter work, her test showed big improvements.  She even scored a 9 for her ‘super’ (judges comment) centre line and her canter marks improved overall.  She got a 31 overall which Liane […]

Firle 31st August 2014 – BE 100

Firle BE 100, 31st August 2014 Unfortunately during the dressage Millie felt quite unsettled and her downward transitions suffered as a result.  In the show jumping she went nicely and was un-phased by all of the surrounding trade-stands, she just had one pole down coming into the double so finished […]

Eridge 27th June 2014

Unfortunately this was carried into the […]

BCA 15th June 2014

BCA – Sunday 15th June 2014 Millie did an accurate, but slightly tense dressage which affected her transitions and trot work. She enjoyed jumping in a surfaced arena and completed a lovely settled clear round. The Cross Country caused no problems for her as she was bold all the way […]

Borde Hill May 2014

Millie – Borde Hill Horse Trials, 25th May 2014 Millie did a nice dressage test overall, not her best ever but pleasing as she hasn’t been out eventing for 9 months. She was a little unsteady into the contact, but did some nice canter work.  She got a score of […]

Firle Place August 2013

Firle Place – August 2013 BE90                                  5th Since our last event, I have been working with Millie on the flat as much as possible, trying to encourage a more relaxed and softer outline. Thankfully […]
