Borde Hill – BE90 – 5th
William was feeling quite lethargic in the dressage warm up despite it close proximity to the cross country at Borde Hill. He performed an average dressage test by his standards which with a little more impulsion could have been much improved, and was also disrupted by him having a coughing spell at the start.
In the show jumping William went nicely and despite one bad ‘pilot error’ from Liane seeing an awful stride he helped her out and jumped clear. He also jumped well in the cross country phase and only added a few time faults to his dressage score of 32.5 and finished 5th.
