Borde Hill 30/05/15
The day started well with Milly doing a really nice flowing test. Her trot work is really starting to impress and the canter is improving with each outing. She was rewarded with her best mark of the season so far, 30.5.
The show jumping at Borde Hill is always very testing due to the slope on which it is held. In the past it has caused problems for Milly, and many others! This made her stylish clear round all the more pleasing, as true to form many others in her class had multiple poles down.
As with the show jumping at Borde Hill, the cross country course really makes the most of the undulating terrain. This years course had a few new challenging additions too which made the time in the BE100 almost unattainable. Milly travelled round at a fair speed with no hesitations or problems yet still finished with a few time faults. However looking at the scoreboard this was better than the majority who had wracked up many more than a few! When the final scores went up Milly was placed in a super 5th place in a section of 36
