The Arenas

The 60m by 20m Gell Track Arena is sand based and topped with rubber chippings and constructed to a very high standard for all weather use. There are of 3 super quality mirrors at the short end of the arena, an invaluable aid for training both horse and rider.

The 30 x 20 indoor arena has a new eco friendly Green track surface and is ideal for close work, lunging, free schooling and ground work it also boasts a quality mirror at the short end, enabling riders to work on their positions in a covered environment.

Hurstwood Farm can offer instruction at all levels. Clients are also welcome to bring in outside instructors.

The arena can be hired at a cost of £10 per horse and rider per hour, and £5 for each additional horse and rider within the same hour.
