SOME TESTIMONIALS
Goring & District Riding Club - August 2011
Goring & District Riding club used Hurstwood Farm as their venue for a club holiday where their members brought their own horses. The organiser, David Beer was kind enought to provide this feedback:
"May I on behalf of the attendees and GDRC thank you for the wonderful time we have just had at Hurstwood. The standard of accommodation was five star, the friendlyness and knowledge of your instructor Rachael was brilliant and the welcome we received was terrific. The horse accommodation was also faultless with lovely stables and brilliant turnout fields. All of those that rode thoroughly enjoyed their lessons and they all raved about the XC course. It was also so nice to have the comfort of the cottages after all that excitement and exertion. A first class weekend enjoyed by all and GDRC will be recommending Hurstwood as a venue to all Riding Clubs we meet and also on our website. Once again THANK YOU and we will certainly be coming back."

Hailsham Equestrian Club - May 2011
Just a quick e-mail to say what a lovely time we had on
Sunday, everyone had a lovely time and went away having learnt a lot and
conquered quite a few nerves. We were all surprised at how well the
ground rode, considering how little rain we have had, and of course we
appreciated that you obviously take pride in maintaining the course to
a high standard.
It was the first time my horse has done XC and was a
really good boy, although he refused point blank to do the ditch! (We
will be back again to crack that particular nut!) I have also attached
a photo of him in the water - as you will see he definately enjoyed
himself. At one point he planted himself and just splashed, splashed
and splashed some more!
Also, thank you for the use of the stable - it
was a great help.
Ouse Valley Riding Club – visit April 2011
For the second year running Ouse Valley Riding Club have organised a short break for their members at Hurstwood Farm
This is what the Chair of Ouse Valley Riding Club had to say about their 3 day stay at Hurstwood Farm.
'We had such an amazing time, we honestly couldn't have been happier! Please thank all of the staff for making us so welcome, we have all raved to all and sundry about the place. We would like to come for day trips every six weeks or so for group lessons, and try and do a winter 3 dayer too.
We couldn't recommend the place any more highly! Facilities are amazing, quality of tuition was extremely high, and the hospitable atmosphere left us absolutely not wanting to go home'

Here are a group enjoying a cross country clinic.

Here some of the group enjoy a cup of tea (I think it's tea -
although some are drinking it out of a glass!) whilst watching others enjoy a lesson

Here 8 year old Lauren enjoyed a private lesson each day

Some riders slept in their Horses Boxes

Others enjoyed all the facilities of our cottages, including having friends round for drinks!
